Why subscribe?

My only child, Jack, drowned in the sea off a beach near Biscarosse in South West France on Sunday 18 June 2023 when he was 25.

I have felt compelled to write about my experiences after this traumatic event as a way of coming to terms with my loss and hope that it might help others who sadly find themselves dealing with a similar tragedy.
